Step 3 - DESTROY IT, distorcion, bitcrush, whatever
Step 4 - Reprocess it, play around with compressors, keep it somehow noisy but also somwehow reductionist
Step 5 - Put the orginal audio into the DAW along what you already made, make it more silent but still audiable
